Swoon

So I was talking with our landlady and she asked if I had seen the calla lilies yet. What?? I mentioned I’d seen green ground cover, but I just thought it was ivy. She tipped me off that if we cut the calla lilies, their juices can stain clothing. I would never have thought of that, but am excited to see them growing. Here a shot of their current status.

See the raindrops? We’ve been enjoying the sprinkles all weekend. Especially since they are already talking about water conservation efforts in Sonoma, not far from here. I hope the rain continues!
