I used to drive from FC in the evening for classes at College of San Mateo, near the top of the ridge. With the setting sun behind the mountains, the fog/cloudbanks looked like they were on fire. The mountains had a dusky deep blue cast which contrasted beautifully with the yellow-orange-fuchsia-purple cloudbanks. Don’t you love highway 92?
