I am not big on knick knacks. Probably because I loath dusting. So my favorite travel souvenir is the smashed penny. I have had a growing pile of them and been unsure of how to display them.
I’d been looking for a frame for a long time, but I never knew how I’d mount them. Then I came across this fabulous frame with a velcro background and velcro strips.
Here they are displayed.
I love that I can rearrange them as my collection grows. I wish the frame was white and the velcro too, but alas, it works. Though on the wall it looks a lot like a civil war era collection.
