We’ve been here since the 10th. Yet, somehow, I’m still exhausted. The new church has completely embraced us, but they feel so far away. We are staying about 30 miles south of Redwood City with family–and with the price of gas combined with only one car means that I either go and spend all day, or stay and am unable to get to know our new friends better.

I am overwhelmed with the change. Not being the main/only provider for our family anymore. The cost of housing. Living out of a suitcase. Learning names and faces, families and stories. Learning streets and new stores. Learning areas. Yet, being overwhelmed isn’t a bad thing–just an unfamiliar one.
